The Yakima 8000163 SkyLine Towers are designed to install on vehicles with factory fixed points, tracks, and for custom installations. Yakima SkyLine Towers are part of Yakima's new StreamLine Series product line. Yakima SkyLine Tower's snap-fit design provides an easy-to-use, solid, secure fit to your vehicle. Yakima Landing Pads are available in 15 different shapes and sizes and provide a solid fit on a broad range of vehicles (sold separately). SkyLine Tower's applications include fix-point mount, factory racks, factory tracks, permanent mounts for fiberglass pickup truck caps, and permanent custom mounts. With BarBed Pitch Adjustment, crossbar pitch can easily adjust to keep crossbars level on vehicles with curved roof-lines. A pre-calibrated torque driver is included with SkyLine Towers to assure the exact tightness level during installation. Yakima SkyLine Towers are compatible with Yakima CoreBars and Yakima JetStream Bars - out of the box. With the addition of a Yakima RoundBar SL Adapter Kit and HD SL Adapter Kit, the SkyLine Towers adapt to fit Yakima RoundBars or HD Bars as well (sold separately). Yakima SkyLine Towers are designed and constructed with stainless steel, glass reinforced nylon and elastomer padding to assure strength and longevity. Yakima Crossbars are required (sold separately). With the addition of 4 Yakima SKS Lock Cores, SkyLine Towers can be locked to your vehicle.
