Yakima 8007138 OffGrid Medium Car Roof Rack Mounted Luggage Basket Cargo Carrier is a multipurpose roof-top basket featuring universal mounting hardware that fits virtually all name-brand and factory crossbars. The OffGrid has a substantial carrying capacity with exterior dimensions measuring 45.25" long x 40.25" wide. The 8007138 OffGrid's weather resistant, heavy-duty steel construction is extremely durable and lightweight. A custom designed Yakima Wind Fairing integrates into the front of the basket to help reduce wind noise and improve fuel economy. The OffGrid includes 2 fully adjustable built-in accessory crossbars for fastening gear specific carriers like ski racks, kayak saddles, bike mounts, etc. With the addition of the 8007108 OffGrid Extension, the OffGrid's capacity can be increased 40% (sold separately - see below). The OffGrid luggage basket may be locked to your roof rack with the addition of Yakima SKS Lock Cores (sold separately).
