Yakima 4073 JayLow J-Style Fold Down Kayak Racks and Carriers fold down when not in use for improved aerodynamics and better garage clearance. The upright section of the Yakima 4073 JayLow Kayak Carrier may be easily adjusted to multiple settings with its integrated cam-lever - allowing you to carry one kayak in the J-Cradle position or 2 kayaks in the vertical position. JayLow's integrated boat ramp system make loading your kayaks easier and keeps your car's paint job intact. The Yakima 4073 JayLow Kayak Rack installs without tools to all Yakima, Thule, Malone and Rhino-Rack crossbars and most factory installed roof rack crossbars. Anti-rotation adapters are included for Yakima Round Bar installations. The Yakima 4073 JayLow is constructed with a soft, over-molded base with grooves to cushion your kayak and allow sand and grit to easily wash away. The Yakima JayLow Kayak J-Cradle includes heavy-duty tie down straps and bow stern tie down straps. Plus, a handy bottle opener is integrated into the base. The JayLow may be locked to your crossbar for additional security (SKS Lock cores are sold separately - see below).
