Yakima 8004041 Big Stack Kayak Carrier is designed to attach to Yakima Roundbars, Thule square crossbars, and most factory installed wing shaped crossbars to securely hold up to 4 kayaks on their sides. The Yakima BigStack Kayak Stacker is constructed with a steel core frame and integrated HullGuard padding to safely carry and protect your kayaks. The Yakima Big Stack is very stable, easy to use, and folds down flat when not in use (for better garage clearance and aerodynamics). The Yakima Big Stack Kayak Stacker is equipped with AnchorHead technology for simple and secure kayak fastening. The BigStack may be locked to the crossbar with the addition of Yakima SKS lock cores (sold separately - see below). The BigStack Kayak Carriers are sold in pairs (one for the front bar, one for the rear bar) and fit Yakima, Thule, and most factory crossbars - out of the box. 1 pair of heavy-duty tie down straps are included to secure 1 kayak to the carrier. 1 pair of bow and stern tie down straps are included, and strongly recommended, to keep your kayak safe at highway speeds, in gusty side winds, and during sudden acceleration and braking.
