The Yakima 8002722 EXO DoubleUp 2 Bike Mount has the ability to easily attach directly to the EXO SwingBase or to the second tier EXO TopShelf allowing additional room for an EXO GearLocker or EXO GearWarrior below. The EXO cleat mounting system allows the different EXO Accessory Attachments to easily be swapped out in seconds. Depending on what location you plan to utilize when mounting the EXO DoubleUp to your EXO Hitch System does change the weight limit per bike. For instance, if you mount the EXO DoubleUp to the EXO SwingBase it will accommodate 50 lbs per bike, and if you mount it to the EXO TopShelf you'll be limited to 40 lbs per bike. Just something to keep in mind when you are configuring your setup. With that said, the EXO DoubleUp 2 bike mount accommodates a wide variety of bikes ranging from fat-tire, mountain, road, hybrid, women's specific, BMX and kids bikes. The ratcheting StrongAm hook will fit 20" to 29" wheel sizes and tires up to 4.8" wide. The ratcheting bike arms do have integrated cable locks built in, and you can use the additional locks included with the SwingBase or TopShelf if needed.
