Yakima 8002599 SpareRide Locking 2 Bike Spare Tire Mounted Bike Rack is designed specifically for carrying 2 bikes on a vehicle with a rear mounted spare tire. The SpareRide attaches directly to the spare tire mounting bolts for a secure, snug fit. SpareRide's universal mounting plate includes an extension and mounts to most lug patterns quickly and easily. The SpareRide fits spare tire widths between P195 and P285 (12.5"). It is not compatible with 8-hole bolt patterns or hole patterns with a diameter greater than 5.5". In order to accommodate for vehicle rear mounted spare tire position the SpareTime is designed to work well with centered or off-centered mounts. Yakima's SuperCush anti-sway cradles and removeable ZipStrips help provide stability and eliminate bike-to-bike contact. Yakima's adjustable bike arms easily fold down when not in use. The Yakima SpareRide comes with 2 integrated bottle openers on the bike arms. SpareRide includes a locking SKS Tightening Knob to lock the SpareRide to your vehicle and a 5' SKS Locking Cable to lock your bikes to the SpareRide. Locks and keys are included.
