The Vantech J Series Aerodynamic Utility Ladder Racks are specifically designed for vans with factory fixpoints. The Vantech J Series is aerodynamically designed for fuel efficiency and to help minimize wind noise. The rack is bolted to the 4 factory fixed mounting points on the roof – minimal drilling is required on some vans. The maximum load capacity for the Vantech J Series is 400 lbs - evenly distributed. The aerodynamic, oblong shaped reinforced aluminum cross bars have built-in channels top and bottom for mounting optional accessories. The mounting bases are 2.75" wide and approximately 1/8" thick at the base and fasten into the slot on the bottom of the cross bars. The low profile design of the Vantech J Series sits approximately 3.25 inches high.The cross bars can be protected by adding a rubber bar guard that inserts into the top channel (sold separately, see below). Vantech J Series racks are available in anodized black, anodized silver, or powder coated white.
