The Vantech H1 Steel 42" 2 bar cap rack is designed to bolt on to fiberglass truck caps and holds up 600 lbs (evenly distributed). The 42" heavy-duty crossbars are made of 14 gauge steel and have a 2" x 1" rectangular design. The top of the cross bar is protected by a non-slip plastic bar guard. The mounting uprights have an 8" extra wide base and stand 10.5" tall. The uprights bases are constructed with 11 gauge steel and are welded onto the upright posts. All four uprights are equipped with four 1" eyehooks. The black rubber caps on the top of the upright posts prevent wind noise and water leakage. The H1 Steel 42" 2 bar cap rack includes one 5" ladder stopper to prevent ladders from sliding forward, one 5.5" ladder guide to help tie down and secure your load, and one Velcro strap that can secure up to 75 lbs of ladders. Ladder guides and ladder stoppers are galvanized, powder coated, dipped in rubber, and include easy turn knobs for quick adjustments or complete removal. The camper shell rack system is galvanized and powder coated for additional protection against rust. Drilling is required to install system onto vehicle. This system is available in black or white.
