Thule's EasyFold XT 903202 platform-style hitch mounted bicycle rack is specifically designed to help to transport e-bikes, free-ride bikes, downhill mountain bikes, and other heavier style bikes. The EasyFold XT 903202 bike rack works with both 1.25" and 2" hitches. To use it on a 1.25" hitch, simply remove the 2" adapter by loosening 2 Allen bolts. To install the EasyFold XT bike rack, simply slide the hitch base into your hitch, secure the hitch pin into the side of your hitch and tighten the hitch knob until the bike rack is secure. When tightening the locking knob it deploys an anti-rattle wedge to help take wobble out of the hitch connection. Once fully tightened, lock the hand knob to secure the rack to your vehicle. The hand knob will spin freely in both directions when locked. The knob won’t engage the threads unless it’s unlocked. The EasyFold XT uses molded wheel trays that are designed with durable weather-resistant ABS and anodized aluminum. This strong, sturdy bike tray is designed to carry heavier bikes like e-bikes, downhill mountain bikes, free-ride bikes and most other heavy bikes. The optional XXL Wheel Strap kit fits fat bike tires up to 4.7" thick (sold separately). The EasyFold XT includes a folding aluminum ramp that fastens into the grooves at the end of each wheel tray and extends out up to 48" allowing heavier e-bikes to be rolled on and off the bike rack. No heavy lifting is required. When not in use, the ramp conveniently folds and stores onboard the rack. The EasyFold XT's locking dual arm bike cradle clamps may be positioned anywhere along the upright tube to accommodate many different bike frame styles. The bike clamps may be rotated and adjusted to accommodate odd shaped bike frames. The cradle clamps include built-in rubber pads which help protect and securely grab your bikes frame ensuring a safe, solid journey with minimal movement. The bike cradle clamps include lockable AcuTight torque limiter knobs that click when optimal torque is reached. The locking knobs lock your bikes to the rack. The EasyFold XT tilts away from vehicle with bikes loaded or unloaded for convenient access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. To tilt the rack, simply press the handle at the front of the wheel tray, and to return it to the upright position, push the rack toward the base until it locks into position with an audible click. The EasyFold XT bike rack folds up for compact storage. Integrated wheels and carrying handle make it easy to roll the EasyFold to and from your vehicle.
