The Thule FastRide 564005 Fork Mounted Car Roof Bike Rack Bicycle Carrier is sleek and versatile, perfect for quick-release bikes. It is easy to install and safe to mount thanks to the Thule AcuTight torque limiter knob that clicks when optimal torque is reached. The Thule FastRide is compatible with all Thule crossbars, round bars and most factory racks. Easily mount Thru-axle bikes (9-15mm) and standard Quick-release bikes (9 mm). It fits 20x110mm Thru-axle bikes with an additional adapter (sold separately) as well as bikes with disc brakes. The FastRide's lockable features lock the bike to the rack and the rack to your crossbars. Two Thule lock cores are required (sold separately - see below). An adjustable protective wheel strap holds the rear wheel securely in place when carrying a bike. When empty, it's also very quick and easy to switch the carrier position from one side of the vehicle to the other for purposes of convenience. The FastRide can carry a bike up to 40lbs.
